Agreed just keep thinking it's going to nestle in the bottom corner. Kept getting a bit of dust in my eyes at the end. Wife was just sitting shaking her head. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Hopefully we won't have to wait to long before it's concluded. It's not ideal but it sounds like the club as budgeted for this summer so shouldn't hold up recruitment.

So it sounds like if it’s hostile to Juan and KLD it won’t go through

I think he means the new investors will need to be happy with KLD running the club as he is now.

I doubt anything will change tbh.

It was such a massive effort to get promoted KLD won't sit twiddling his thumbs waiting for minority shareholders to sort themselves out.

I'd say KLD would just carry on, as normal, if Donald failed to see his shares and stopped investing. The amounts he's putting in aren't enormous in any case.

Fair points mate. I dont think I knew about the spanish investors. In the cold light of day you would think someone would have taken us, if not them. Mind you Derby are getting very close to disappearing.

Before agreeing to buy the shares they will know that KLD is pulling the strings so that shouldnt be too much of a problem. JS is the mystery for me, he looked on his way out when he was running his political campaign and now he seems to be right back in the thick of things. Between him and KLD there is a lot of dosh, if the potential new share holders have the same kind of dosh we could become a very rich club overnight.

To be fair there seems to have been quite a few signed up from there, thats good for both boards, the morons get flushed out pretty quickly so we end up with some good posters. Regardless of how RTG is perceived by some there are some very good posters over there and some contribute to both boards.

It's a great forum, the vast majority of posters are decent lads and Sunderland supporters.

There's a shouty little clique who cause trouble over there, spoil threads but squeal like pigs if anyone else criticises anything. It's basically any excuse for an argument as a form of entertainment. They even come on here to get 'more material' to moan and whinge about instead of talking about football.

It's not like here, where people only post if they have something to say, they post endlessly about other people ...

    ... ironically what I'm doing now <doh>

It’s crap about derby mind but yeah Madrox was Madrid and Oxford. Donald and Methven by all accounts ditched the Madrid last minute. There was obviously interest out there other than them and I’ve heard that Short had other options but chose the quickest. If it was a good deal for them it was a good deal for others. I thank them for nothing.

Made me smile when I read that thinking what the response would have been over the road. Thanks for the update. I have everything crossed. Dancing man at the ready.

Some members on that board were pretty relentless with their abuse of Bob (and others) on that board. It’s unsurprising it gets mentioned now and again

They're in the same attention seeking category as William Storey imo.

The only serious bidders won't want their identity known and will use a third party solicitor's firm to represent them imo.

In that way it's possible that even Donald isn't sure who the actual buyer is during the early stages ...

... I doubt he cares as long as he gets his money.

It may be that due diligence, proof of funds and the EFL checks can all be done without revealing the true name of the buyer. After all, there's endless speculation about who owns Newcastle, Burnley, Derby, Birmingham, Cardiff, etc. (Things may have changed at those clubs but the general point remains.)

The Dell people seem to own chunks of various clubs and may end up with one by default. What happens if Derby don't repay their debt for example ... dunno.
