Stewart might not be there for that anyway. With him being away with Scotland, he'll be back a few weeks later than everyone else as he's not had a break yet.
Same happened with the KLD deal. Loads of speculation and noise, all went quiet and people said nothing would happen, it did happen and people who said nothing would happen switched to moaning that Donald was still there. All good fun if you don't take it too seriously. What I don't understand is the small group of people who insist nothing is happening and seem desperate for that to remain the case. Anyone who shows any optimism for a change is shot down, strange tbh.
This is exactly what happened Smug, as far as I can see this investment is following the same path, but even if some person/group is coming in that is loaded the doom mongers will find something to try and bring everyone down.
Off topic . Driving from Torquay to Kingston saw £2.06 for a litre of diesel, went past Stonehenge first time I have seen it very impressive
It really is incredible when you first see it. We've never been tempted to get close up, I think shuffling around with a load of people would take the mystery away.
pretty sure i remember reading that they had fenced it off at least part of the year as it was an excellent place to pick 'magic shrooms'...many hippy type persons were gathering at certain times.
Think some people need this when it comes to Sunderland and it's ownership please log in to view this image
Its amazing close up, it doesnt look real when you see it from a distance, when you get close up it just makes you wonder how it was ever erected (yes I have seen programmes and theories, but what an amazing feat)
This is a decent summary of how it was constructed. One of the most interesting things about it is that they kept adding to it over a long period whereas similar sites were pretty much left as they were, in comparison. https://www.english-heritage.org.uk...history-and-stories/stonehenge-reconstructed/
One of the few things I have seen that take your breath away. It really is amazing. The Mary Rose is another that stopped me in my tracks.
