Agree Smug, by the way I wasn't in anyway sugesting it was a bad thing. There's always hype built up about possible potential investors. We already have wealthly investors and if it's Kyril's family that can only be a good thing. Not only is the LDC part owned by ADQ (Abu Dhabi Investment fund), his father-in-law Philipp Hildebrand is vice chairman of BlackRock who manage funds woth up to $10 trillion. As much as Sartori isn't around his partner's father is extremely wealthy. There's potentially some serious investment opportunites there. It's all good. We are on a new level compared to Ellis Short. Getting rid of CM and SD is a huge step. Hopefully that happens soon. I also agree that if it's his family there won't be too much disruption to our transfer plans. As Tom White mentioned it could take 5 weeks to complete I am sure that given it's possibly a trusted family member it won't affect our transfer plans.
At current sales our income, from SCs, is probably less than a million. I'm not sure that's worth a whole conspiracy from Sky, KLD, D&M, Nixon, RR, etc.
That can't be right surely. Even if you account for the very reasonable concessions prices and say our average season ticket costs £250. £250 x 28,000 = £7m.
I renewed without hesitation as we were heading into leauge one under Short. I certainly don't want a medal, and don't see myself anymore a supporter than the next person, but some people I know have been getting a season ticket since Wembley and seemingly wanting some kind of pat on the back for doing so. I've advised them all that if it isn't going well instantly, don't be starting the 3 phases. Phase 1 Moaning after 5 minutes. Phase 2 booing. Phase 3 stop going.
The daughters first season as a card holder after attending 10 ish games last season and she's over the moon! Wants a scarf and every lol
Yes, sorry Scott, I wasn't clear ... ... it sounded right in my head What I'm saying is that i don't think people are flocking to buy SCs on the strength of Donald going. He's been virtually invisible anyway.
I’m expecting a few phase 1 and 2’s if things aren’t going well the first few games. some of our important transfers won’t come off until near the end of the window, which never helps but could mean we aren’t quite at the races in August.
https://thefanstogether.io/landing-page The Fans Together is a DAO (Decentralised Autonomous Organisation) dedicated to bringing sports fans together from across the globe to give them power and say in professional sports clubs. To achieve this goal, we The Fans Together are utilising the Tangle, a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) created by the IOTA Foundation to create a fast, free and frictionless way for Fans to engage with their sports clubs. Through our governance structure, fans will have a real say in their club’s operations. Anyone who owns at least one of The Fans Together’s $TFT tokens will be able to debate, contribute and ultimately decide, through votes and polls the direction of their sports clubs. Votes within the DAO are proposed by the TFT team and then token holders will be able to participate, deciding the outcome. We have opted to use IOTA’s Tangle because of its many advantages, its fast, feeless, and energy efficient. These features are what make The Fans Together possible.
I will protest the **** out of this... I do not want our club to be fan owned. Neebody in Sunderland has any money. We'll be in administration faster than you can say Rich Energy. Surely Kyril doesn't okay this?
