Just been reading about Southampton's back to back promotions 2010-12 and there seems like a lot of similarities Club rescued from the brink. Owned by an extremely rich Swiss business family. father just died club run by his daughter. Fantastic facilities in the stadium and training ground. Team of exciting young players. (Ross Stewart might just be our Rickie Lambert.) When Southampton went up there was a lot of unrest because they sold Oxlade-Chamberlain for £15m But used the money to strengthen. This summers rebuilding is going to be interesting. Not getting ahead of the game but we might just have the right infrastructure and owners to go up and stay up in the Prem. Bob is right Smug there’s no love lost between JS and Kyril. I have no idea why he changed his mind but he did. CM and SD have moved on and JS now looks quite isolated unless he comes to a deal with one of the parties.
Well if this is true it is interesting. Certainly, up to now, JS has shown little interest in getting involved, apart from some early publicity stuff, whatever his reasons. KLD on the other hand has shown full commitment, and he doesn't even have a majority of the shares. I know who I'd be backing as good for us.
