Really **** example of how I see all this ITK stuff and the nonsense between these boards. I’m in the process of buying a house. We actually were buying a different house a few months ago but it fell thru at the last minute. For the first house we spent ages negotiating a price. We went back and forth for about a week. Eventually when the price was agreed I told my parents and friends etc that it was finally sorted and agreed At that point if one of those had leaked to one of my many fans on the Southern A fan site message board, they’d have said the deal is done Meanwhile the solicitors got to work and it took 3 months. There were very few updates from me to my “ITK” sources other than that I was confident all was on track Meanwhile unbeknown to me, my sellers are actually having a change in circumstance and are considering pulling out. They brief their “ITK” sources along these lines who also then report, in good faith, that they’re hearing the deal is nowhere near. So at this point you have my sources saying the deal is done; in fact they’ve been saying it for months. And you’ve got other sources saying it’s nowhere near. Both are being genuine and reporting in good faith what they’re hearing. At the last moment the sellers pulled out. At this point everyone on the forums is telling my sources that they’re a bullshitter etc Anyway, we then we went and found another house, offer accepted. I tell my friends again My friends go on the fan site and tell them a deal is back on Nobody believes them because they “made it up” last time All of that is actually a true story. Except the fans and the forums bit.
We are all praying for good news but it’s going to be quiet for a while just due to the nature of the deal, lads will post stuff they hear in good faith so let’s not jump all over people when things turn out to be incorrect or don’t happen instantly, sit back and relax and enjoy the summer, it’s never boring
The way I see it is this, the real achievement is Del and Rodders gone. I have faith in KLD and his financial means. Anyone coming in is a bonus.

Agreed mate. Those two gone is reason to celebrate. However, it did strike me today that the cost cutting they done, helped make us an attractive proposition. I felt a little sick in my mouth there. KLD had the nous to get the club moving forward in the right direction. Sooner tweedle dumb and tweedle twat are gone the better though.
I suppose they steadied the ship financially. But if KLD hadn't come along they would have continued to sell anyone any club showed interest in as a way to finance the club in the short term. Long term they would have turned us into a mid table league 1 club with half the stadium closed due to empty sits eventually running the facilities in the ground whilst failing to carry out repairs and maintainance due to cost. Eventually when there was nothing left to sell they would have called in the administrators. All imo of course, but they could only run the club short term until a buyer came along. Been their plan all along, Hence them having a buyer at the first play off final!
There's no need to be sick mate, through pure greed and no money, they were forced to trim the fat so to speak. Pretty much paving the way for KLD to come in. If the ITKs are correct, we could be in for a serious buy in. Outside perhaps 12 Premier league clubs, were probably the most attractive prospect.
Hmm I’m not sure. Making us league one also rans didn’t make us more attractive. You can see that as we go up and there is interest on the back of promotion and progress and the support and interest that brings. We had to cost cut that was inevitable whoever came. They did it badly - losing young players for **** all who would have been worth more later and signing ****e players for money. They cut our success and potential alongside spend. Doing both well would have given them credibility. They created a space for personal profit not a platform for the club. Us hounding the pair of ****ers got the new people in because they wanted out.
The thing is KLD didn’t just come along. The deal was put together by CM. He wouldn’t have been here otherwise. Might be unpopular but it’s true.
No mate and that’s the first time I’ve heard that. I’m not saying there isn’t a connection, there maybe but I know that the legwork was done CM.
