What’s clear is that things are clearer but still unclear. We know the share - which is progress with information though disappointing of course. We know the board membership. Actually power over decision making - role, influence the definitions behind the language used all remain messy. I’m guessing there will be more information along soon to ease the furore which we can judge better. EDIT: WTF have i just written. Like some riddle out of a cracker.
There was an amount of money, can't remember how much that Donald said he would pay back to the club. Has he paid it back?
Ok, here's an idea... The above is correct and Sartoris shares are non voting giving KLD governance majority. KLD was prevented from detailing the breakdown of shares due to the NDA which was put in place as SD and Salmon pants knew what the backlash would be. Now, what if the duration of the NDA has now expired and KLD has leaked the share breakdown to the Athletic. He knows that this will incense the fan base putting more pressure on SD to sell up and possibly at a reduced price. It could all be a very cunnung part of the complete takeover strategy, hence the rumours about a new shareholder coming on board (buying SD's shares)
or Sartori has come back, has reclaimed his voting rights and left KLD exposed and lost his controlling stake. So now KLD is buying more shares to get it back.
Hahaha, f***ing love it! I've had 2 glasses of cabernet sauvignon and it sounded perfectly coherent, but sober it might have been weird.
its a good one. Reminds me of a senior partner at the consulting firm I work at asking me how I thought he could come across more authentic. You can’t act authentic. You’re either being authentic or you’re not. You can’t act honest. You’re either being honest or you’re not
I think that's quite close to what I was thinking to be honest. Or maybe hoping, I'm not sure. I just can't believe KLD, with the advisors and experience behind him is playing this blind. I also much prefer "cunnung" to "cunning". I'm emailing Suzie Dent now for a new word proposal.
Someone has broken the NDA as the 41% has, I believe, been circulating for a few days. That’s been done for a reason. We’ve got an interesting few days coming up methinks.
I've read some great posts on this situation today ,great opinions and arguments. Here's my 2 worth.... I've had my season ticket for 15 years. I can count on 2 hands the amount of times I've left the place ecstatic, the rest is a blur. I've seen us beat Newcastle, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs Everton, jumped around like a nutter at a couple of last minute equalisers against West Ham. I've seen us go on great runs to stay up. I've seen us give up in the Premier league and get relegated. Make an arse of our selves on Netflix, get relegated into the 3rd division. I've seen piss takers like Rodwell pick up a wage and not care.I've renewed with 12k other fans despite the lack of effort from the players and club as we headed into leauge one. I've seen us taken over by 2 blokes that bought the club with our money, I've seen us blow promotion time after time. My support has been questioned by Charlie because I couldn't afford to do Wembley twice in a month. I can take all of that because that's what supporting my club is about. But today is the first time I've called the club bullshitters. And today is the first time I've questioned putting any more money into it. Problem is, we're from the North, we're thick, we're grateful for scraps, not too savvy.... or so they think. Damage has been done. Good luck to the PR people. You're gonna need it. JW FTM
None of this would matter to most fans if we were doing the business on the pitch, if we were flying high. Everyone would be so happy! but the last few weeks, sacking the manager, having a cluster-**** with replacing the manager, the results on the field, makes folk focus on other things. I personally don't care who owns what, just want the team to be beating everyone. But, it may be that this latest revelation is having some effect backstage, the players and coaches are feeling it, and it is having an effect on matches. Come on Sunderland, get it right on the pitch and no-one will care about the backroom politics!
