20% Sartori and 5% Methven which somehow is less than his 6% that was discussed when Madrox first came in
I can't back it up with anything except to say I know that it's true as long before the "takeover" happened I had a connection that told me of methven and Sartori looking to bring another investor on board to remove Donald ling before it happened, it coincided with what prehab and Magnus were saying and I also had first hand information from a club employee conforming what I was being told.
So it is another investor rather than a friend they brought in and so there is nothing to say they are in any way backing KLD apart from JS sitting on the board - and he could just be doing that in response to a demand from the Madrox group.
so basically...JS and CM wanted a new man in to 'get rid' of SD so KLD was brought into the mix? if that is the case then wtf is SD still doing with 34%. should JS decide to 'flip' then SD and him would be holding 54%...so far from being 'in control' he has to rely on keeping people sweet or they could simply gang together again and oust KLD. this is how it sounds to me, if wrong then can someone explain further please?
Actions speak louder than words. It is clear as day that the last 12 months have seen very different approaches and a direction than anything we saw under the previous lot. Therefore, in my opinion at least, KLD and his team are running the show 100%. It is like nothing Donald and co ever mentioned or demonstrated. I do think Sartori is probably still an asset somewhere. He has the commections to be. I dont have issues there. We knew the other two kept a minority share. My surprise is the size of Donalds slice. 34% is much bigger than I woild have imagined. The mistake, again in my opinion, is only just being clear on that. It feels like something was being hidden. Like I said though everything points to team KLD being in the driving seat. Has anyone seen a full copy of this statement yet?
my best GUESS at what actually happened. Donald wanted to get out, perhaps for mental health reasons, but the reason not too important Donald didn’t want to go completely tho, he wanted to retain a small amount as a cash cow for when we get promoted Methven and Sartori already owned a small amount so didn’t see the need to sell Together they worked out the best thing to do would be to find somebody to buy most of Donald’s shares, somebody with money who they could jointly put forward as the “new owner”. They had tried this originally with Sartori but only given him a small amount, so they had to go for a bigger amount and give away more than original. They were happy to give the “new owner” control over footballing stuff, as they all know they were under qualified and were only ever really involved for the eventual payback anyway Methven or Sartori (or perhaps both) have links into Louis-Dreyfus and so brought him in KLD saw this as an amazing opportunity to learn how to run a big football club KLD bought enough shares to make sure he owned the most. The rest of the ownership group convinced him everybody was aligned, and so not having 50%+1 wouldn’t be an issue The club then announced the takeover with strong expression that KLD was in complete control It’s probably likely that KLD IS in complete control, but only because the others don’t want day to day involvement, so trust him to crack on.
Madrox rules. They must be laughing their heads off at us. It was said a while ago that KLD was the face and people were shot down. Egg on multiple faces here like. What a **** show.
Do you think Donald and Chaz but the NDA to stop KLD telling us fans the truth, but a year later once it’s finished he has told us, or am I clutching at straws here
Think you mentioned a little while ago mate about a new investor coming in. Any idea if that’s still the case and how that might fit in with this afternoon’s revelations?
How can you be so sure, KLD obviously was interested. Would the others not have to financially support him? Ian Wright suggested things had to be right at board level?
