If Mr Gray has got some big money backers and he is fronting it and will be involved in running the club in some way after the takeover that would be brilliant.

I may then forgive him for missing that penalty against Charlton in the play-off final

That's crossed my mind a lot as well.

Conveniently taking our eyes off the lack of new players.

Without that penalty miss we wouldn't have had the next 3 amazing seasons.

Was a blessing mate. We wouldn’t have had the 100 point season if it goes in, and we probably wouldn’t have been as strong in the PL as we were first season up after.

I’m saying he helped not hindered <laugh>

I could not get to Wembley for the final and was sitting in a pub in Wylam with my brother and some of his mates. One was a really big mags fan, when Grey stepped up to take the Penalty he said in a loud voice left footers never score pens...

100% this is someone already involved with the club possibility increasing their stake with some new money behind them.

After various mentions I've just had a look on there.

FFS, what happened to the humour and love of SAFC!

It's like a Tarantino script over there ...

... everyone is shouting, no one is listening.

What a sad bunch of people.

One of those occasions that reminds me of how content I am to be me.

No, it's just that. 12k season cards sold, they're on pause until we know what's happening with social distancing in stadiums and such.

I've not been paying that much attention to this situation (been loving the cricket tbh). My low level understanding is that there is a period of exclusivity with an unknown buyer who may or may not be someone already invested in the club but that William Storey (either a total madman or a serious businessmen who has all the solutions but looks a bit nuts) has declared his IS interested in the club, though some think that's a smokescreen for his upcoming £5.5m court case.

    Is that correct?

If so what do people think is going to happen next? Am i going to have to read back...

If the Bray Wyatt cosplayer gets control of the club, we'll be fed to the buzzards within a year.

    *goggles Bray Wyatt*

Fair play. He does seem "high risk", i suspect it would prove Donald has no real interest in the club and only in getting his money back but I can't claim to know much about Mr Storey.

I've been looking over the road, it's absolutely crazy. My policy is just to wait and see what happens, rather than join in the feeding frenzy at the zoo.

There is nothing we can do, what will be will be. All I know is that Donald has absolutely destroyed my passion for something that has literally been with me all my life.

We might be following the polish league where it's capped at 25% of the capacity
