Excellent news mate, the most two valuable words to a successful marriage are yes and dear, merry Xmas to one and all
I've had 14 cqns of the hazy stuff by this point so I just cannot catch up. But what an opening statement from the lad.
Well in this day and age you are supposed to answer no but when I was at school one of our books was called Out with Romany and it taught you how to catch and cook one anyway my “ mate “ says they taste like chicken
When I did my commando course to join 59 Ind SQN, a mate of mine on the same course, a big lad, on the escape and evasion on dartmoor, we were sent out individually, but guys met up away from the prying eyes of the DS. Anyhoo, my mate and three others were starving after a couple of days. They came across an area where fly tipping had been happening, there was a handful of stray dogs that had formed a pack. The lads made a dead fall trap and bagged a Jack Russell, they shared the meat, but there was an argument about who would keep its fur, my mate being a big chap won the ensuing battle for the creatures skin. Made a Davy Crockett style hat with it. I am sure I have a photo of it somewhere, will post if I come across it.
The lad may have billions but they will be tied up in investments. Probably be money available for the window but the main benefit will come from having a plan and the people in place to implement it. For decades Sunderland has been like a toy train set, just going round and round in circles. Now I believe we are on one of those full size setswith signal boxes and tunnels etc that take up an entire room... Sorry, I think I’m suffering from a port wine/Xmas/brexit/takeover hangover! I’ll be ok in a week or two. Happy Xmas to all that post on here and their families.
I bet I know what it tasted like when we used to have bbq’s in Lincolnshire I would often substitute goat for lamb and make grey squirrel curries everybody loved them until you told them afterwards and they would go uuugghh! Dopey buggers.
Congrats mate. Just keep on apologising in advance for something you havent done yet and you will be OK.
One of the reasons Donald had to go was he could not afford to fund us on-going. He probably hoped for a quick promotion then sale, making a profit. I do not know if the new owner will bring success, as always that depends on the players and managers... however I reckon he can afford to fund us year by year, so that is a relief... and I assume he will be heavily involved in running the club. It would not surprise me if he had some new players in mind already. In the next month I hope to see some deadwood cut free and a couple of pacy forwards brought in. This would be brilliant
