Thanks, so much ado about nothing then, I thought for the deal to go to efl it had to be agreed, surely that means SD and salmon pants can’t move the goalposts? I call tosh!

 

Its clear that clarity is needed and quick. We have had too many false dawns at this club. If this is happening, then get it done.

To be fair it doesnt sound as close as whhatbis being made out if he has been asked by 2 different consortiums, add to the fact the people who were very positive about it happening soon have gone quiet. Hopefully it does happen soon

 

He didn't like, he said there is movement for 1 or 2 at the moment but people could leave (there are still a couple who don't live in the area)
He then went on to say that they have enough contacts between them to get the best U21's possible.
I'm also a little concerned at that conference cos he is intimating nothing is imminent, but does refer to Donald as the "current majority shareholder"

Now knowing this club there is every chance the takeover goes tits up. That's what we do. but **** it if it does we move on.

But the thought that as soon as they hit a snag in negotiations. Someone phones LJ and says "You MIGHT not be able to buy anyone in January"
LJ then stomps about the Academy and tells an EX player who then tells you're mate. Really

Tell you what to cheer you up. I know a couple of Ex Partick Thistle players. Just texted one and he know **** all about it.

Got to say I’m a tad concerned now.
For LJ to say he’s been getting info. for a couple of prospective buyers in the last week suggests that it’s not close.
All the itk’s have disappeared (kidnapped?) (Yew Tree?)

No mate. These lads playing days are well over.
used to live up in Glasgow early 80's
Stayed in a flat just across the canal from the ground. Loads of players used to drink in the local bars.
Got to know a few of them A lot of them were just normal local lads to be honest. Mostly skint as well
Different world mate.

I have to admit that does seem like a change from Johnson it all seemed very positive before, the lack of other appointments from the academy to recruitment to even the assistant manager is concerning given they were supposedly lined up. Should this deal not happen I can’t see how Donald can afford Johnsons new wages combined with the sporting director as well.

 

At last we have a manager we can listen too. Talking common sense with an air of positive arrogance. His personality skills makes you feel as though you have known him for years.
He will call a spade a spade and make sure that everyone at the club talks the same language and have the same expectations as him.

Although im still paying for my season ticket there's no way I'm buying any more streams until there is clarity on the ownership. Until then its a non SAFC Christmas completely for me.

 

Its because we couldn't afford a DOF to change the batteries. Thats all sorted now thank god!

Seems strange that two different consortiums would ask the same bloke, and an average manager to date, to study us in case of a takeover. Would both consortiums really have singled him out to be the right person to cast judgement on a team he's never managed in the same league or against? I find that rather strange.
