If we'd had something like this in place with Short things may have been completely different. The whole thing seems like a proper football club.
People on RTG know no facts but will tell anyone who will listen its all negative and "nowt will change" etc
Thats far too positive for some people mate! But we do need to get behind this guy and I do agree with you. As I've said before, he's recognised the faults of the team in 1 match and came out and said it and also mentioned that he expects to be backed to rectify it. Not too bad for a few hours work in my mind, lets just hope we have something to cheer about in the near future.
Dunno mate. But surely his backroom staff must be coming in in the next 24 hours. Definitely one thing that can't be left to linger.
Why are people so hung up about LJ talking to CD? If you apply for a job and are told by the prospective new owners that the company is in the process of being taken over would you not contact the current / old owner just to confirm what had been said was correct? I know I would, not that I've ever been in such a senior position to get to speak to the person that owned the company I worked for but hopefully you catch my drift...
If at long last the signs are that a sensible structure with properly qualified people managing the football side of the business should we really be bothered who is in the boardroom. If my team is playing well and winning a fair proportion of games I will be more than happy.
Finally feels like there is a proper plan in place for the club. There is a fair bit going on in the city as well, new buildings on Vaux, footbridge over to the sheepfolds mooted, new road from the northern spire bridge into the city centre. Hopefully things are looking up
