Digressing slightly considering it has gone quiet on the takeover front but a much much more important situation has arisen. Does anyone know if the Victory pub will still be open? I thought only matchdays kept it going and worried for its future. I did however see a glimmer of hope earlier this week when I noticed it has had a lick of paint.

I was in Hamburg many moons ago, me and a crazy glaswegian. Got separated from our other three muckers in the small hours. Found some apartments with a heated hallway near where we had parked, we were absolutely slaughtered. Around 4am, I woke , was a big coloured guy standing over me, I just went back to kip, as was wrecked. Absolutely sure the fcuker ragged me, had a savage dose of piles come the Monday morning back in Hameln.

I was waxing lyrical in there, one day years ago, and praising the place. "Scotch on draft, ham stotties and a decent mix of people, 5 mins from the ground ... it's a paradise."
