Apologies in advance for being thick on this but with Speakman announced as Sporting Director, does that mean that Tom White was speculating that Schwarz would get the job and it turns out he hasn't or is there another job working alongside Speakman still to be filled?
There is at least one more role, probably a head of recruitment type job. Don’t think Schwarz was ever in the running realistically.

If you listen to his interview, Speakman refers to the need to fill the "Head of Recruitment" position. So there could be potential there Sounds like Mick Dodds has the Academy Manager position, so it's just Head Coach and HoR to go
Agree. It's not the name I was hoping for, I had to google him when I first heard him mooted (think I got him confused with his Dad). Seems to have done a decent job at Bristol and I hope he can bring something to our club. I'll admit, it's a little underwhelming with all the talk of 'billionaires taking over the club' but we are where we are right now, and all we need is to achieve in the short term is to get out of this rotten league. If Lee Johnson can achieve that, then he's alright by me
I think this is where I’m at, he’s here now, not what I or anyone else wanted, don’t think he’s up to the job but if he gets us up then fair play. We can alway bin him when in the champo cos he won’t be able to get us out of it.
