told he'd stop and sit on the ball in mid dribble, he wasn't named the Clown Prince of Football for nowt. I only saw him the once when I was nine, when I started going regular a few seasons later all that eras stars had gone and like others I was brought up in Charlie Hurley et al. Great days passionate crowds.
Very much doubt it. https://www.thefa.com/football-rule...les/laws/football-11-11/law-15---the-throw-in
I never seen Shack play but my dad always told me he was a magician with the ball. I think Norton means putting back spin on it, I wrote in another post that I watched Kieran Brady do it, incredible skill.
I jest of course, just trying to make a link with the Brum boys coming in that's all ha ha. Perhaps Craig Gardner? as head coach? Of course, we could all have egg or what have you on our face once either Cowley/Cook/Johnson are appointed. (That's Lee Johnson by the way people, not Gary)
It’s true about 15 yards out took the throw which he bounced off one the opposition players as it came back to him he set off beat a man the hit it goal all day and legal too
I wouldn't bother defending yourself mate. You, and others have said whatever they could say whenever they could say it and it has been appreciated. Good enough for me all day long, and I imagine good enough for anyone else who inhabits a harmless internet message and does so without a weird need to shout "Look at me!" . As the great Curtis Mayfield sang, "Keep on Keeping On".
One of the stories I grew up with mate, from my uncle. Another was when he grabbed a comb off a lad in the paddocks and combed his hair while inviting the defender to try to get the ball off him.
Must admit don't really know much about him so after chatting with my old pal had a bit of a google. His records not great but seems to have a very technical attacking style of football. So may fit the new structure we appear to be setting up. One thing I found though apparently at Bristol they nicknamed him "Streaky" Because his teams have fantastic winning streaks but then are followed up by long losing streaks.
I saw Shack once flip the ball over the fullbacks head , run around him control the ball in midair and continue down the wing.
I definitely saw him and I knew he was good but I don't think I appreciated quite how good he was as I was only about 10.
If ever there was a wasted talent he was it, loads of rumours about drinking and indiscipline, I am sure most of it was true.
Tomorrow 1pm for the announcement is my guess. These 2 lads from Birmingham and the new head coach all in the same statement.
