It wouldn’t be in favour of it but is Neil Lennon any worse on paper than these managers being mentioned? Least he has managed a big club

I reckon this new structure was part of the slide pack at Cyrils football course in Yorkshire.

  3. I think it's becoming obvious mate....to all but the scorn-dogs on RTG and here. The links springing up to the Birmingham Academy,if true I hesitate to add, speak volumes.

  7. Sorry mate, but no! He's managed a big club with no significant challenge...until now....and he's folding like a poker loser.

Be ready for Pep Clotet to shoot up the bookies list just because of the birmingham link. would be terrible for me.

  12. Bodes well for us if true. It means our new owners are being advised by someone who knows their English football. Also,it would indicate a team being assembled with an eye to the future, using one of our great assets, the Academy.
Music to our ears! After the pessimism of yesterday, all of a sudden, things are looking brighter and I think will get brighter still in the next few days.

If people don't like the Cowleys, they won't like him. He didn't play professionally either and his win ratio as a manager is around 30%

People keep ****ting on Rodwell but there's no reason to think that he's not the guy who knew about Speakman, from his days on the EFL board.

He may be a mate of Methven, and Speakman may be his recommendation, but if it turns out good and its a good appointment it shouldn't matter.

Either way - if he's got the job its because he interviewed well and had a clear plan. As L'Equipe said - we were holding interviews by a headhunting firm - so there was a proper process in place.

Nice one. I had a look for Brum satff and couldn't see an MD but was a DM. Thought it was bit of a strange one, Mike Dodds makes a lot more sense after having a quick look at him. Looks like we're going to be taking the youth development side of things a lot more seriously. I'm getting well chuffed at all this.

I’ve never been offended by Rodwell.

He seems a straightforward fella working within his constraints but I don’t hold him up for much of the **** that’s gone in.
