not bothering catching up, had to go for covid test so missed the first half hour of the game...last thing i saw on north east news was that Gus is still fave for the job, felt they, if anyone, would be super happy to dismiss Gus and have a wee bit of a giggle at us mackems but so far only that one report about Gus heading back down. surely, and i mean SURELY the club HAVE to make some sort of statement and make it soon, far too much speculation now especially with ZZ TOP being snapped doing an interview.
I always said I didn’t want gus back but would have got on the bus, I can’t think of a time a manager returning turned out well
He might be prepared to work with a DOF, but not UNDER one. We know he clashed with Di Fanti and Congleton when he was here before, and argued with the owners at Bordeaux before being sacked there about player transfers. It maybe that he wants/wanted too much control and isn't willing to compromise and that's the deal breaker.
I am not upto date on this but why is it only one Cowley that is mentioned I thought the brothers were a team
Rollercoaster of a day, just feel confused with the poyet situation. I honestly think the club felt that he was going to be the next manager. Too many things pointed to it, the cryptic tweet from the club highlighting ‘back’ seems too far of a stretch to be a coincidence for me, betting being suspended, several posters who have had accurate information previously all pulling in the same direction, journalists like Barnes posting photos of the league cup final notes. Even poyets son is acknowledging something was going on. Still hopeful it’ll all end positively either way.
Excellent read that. To be honest I knew nothing about them. I'd give them ago. I was sold on the fact they had tactics.
Noticed Sky Bet have stopped taking bets on the next manager, wonder if Davy Jones has told them something? Or is that lazy speculation haha
That is a bit odd mind. They're always scared of information leaking out, so if loads of people suddenly pile on one choice, or if there are a few very large bets, they might do it, but if they didn't suspend earlier when everyone was trying to lump on poyet it's strange to do it now.
At the end of the day Parkinson is still gone and there’s a good chance of a takeover we are moving forward !
It really boils my piss that we've had 4 itks on here giving us info and updates on this for weeks now and the vast majority has been spot on. It seems @Prehab26, @Magnus were told Gus was expected to sign this morning if that hadn't been genuine they wouldn't have posted it. Then we get new members who are obviously from the **** tip across the road coming on to let their mouths go. What a bunch of ****ers, I think the mods need to step in and just block any new members from commenting on this thread for the next 2 weeks. We have had great info from yourself @Prehab26, @Magnus, @Wheatsheaf that I hope won't stop because of the knob cheeses that are joining up. Something has gone wrong this morning, I heard it was Gus not wanting to work with a DOF and the club thought he would change his mind not sure how true that is mind
