Soz, it was July this year, it was 2019 they got the job, so they nearly lasted a year. There's been 16 managers got jobs at clubs since they departed Huddersfield and two clubs currently have a vacancy.

while i think any of those three will get us promoted, i really want to see someone who i think will last a few years...our last sniff of success came and we had (at the time) the 2nd longest serving manager in the premier league but i firmly believe his 'old fashioned style' was the reason the team fell apart, he wanted to be and insisted on being the boss which went completely against the modern day premier footballers needs, so a younger manager who sees himself as a future prospect as well as the club will do for me.

 

16 managers have got employment since they were sacked, one being Huddersfield, so 15 of them thought better candidates than than the Cowleys were available. Two clubs currently have a vacancy and the Cowleys won't be getting either one of those, so 17 EFL clubs all thought they could get better. If they are so good, this woudn't happen. regardless of whether they'd played league footy or not.

The new owners must get this next manager appointment right. If it's someone underwhelming then fans are just going to be deflated and think that nothings changed

Let's hope it's someone to get the fans excited again someone to give us all hope. This is a new dawn approaching our club let's hope it's a good and exciting one

 

That's just supposition. There could be any number of reasons why they haven't joined another club.
Nigel Pearson, for example, didn't have a club between October 2016, when he left Derby, and September 2017, when he joined Leuven in the Belgian second division. When he left there, it took him 10 months before he was employed by Watford. The Cowleys have currently been without a club for 4 months.
