You started down the insult road kidda, not me. You could accuse me of being a sarcastic ****er and that would be true but I didn't resort to calling you an idiot for having a different opinion. By all means advocate the Cowleys getting the job but I think it's small time as **** to go for a managerial appointment that has only had success at non-league level when there are candidates out there with a proven track record of getting promotion out of this ****ty division.

They left Huddersfield July this year? There’s been barely any sport, only the Forest job has been up?

I think there will be someone announced tomorrow AM but will be in the stands for the match on Tuesday. Sporting Director will be announced in the same press release imo.

Gus has managed 79 games since he left us. He would chomp at the bit to return imo. Im still unsure to be honest.

The end of a gaffers tenure is always a clusterfuck, that's why they get sacked. Wenger was hounded out by Arsenal but would we honestly turn someone like that down?

I still can’t get past the idea that if Sartori is close with Poyet they may bring him in as sporting director

    Ye talking PISH man!!!
We were awesome - there was no way we were getting relegated with Sam at The Helm.
The bloke is a Class Act.
IMO. We’d be back in the Premier in 2022 with BIG SAM in charge, playing proper footie to boot.
    None o this tippy-tappy sideways s h I t e.

I think he will be sporting director rather than manager.

I didn't call you an idiot for having a different opinion, I said an idiot would judge successful managers on one season. If you want to interpret that as an insult that's up to you.

I really don't care if you think its small time. We're all entitled to an opinion.

Yeh sod it I’m going there and calling it.

Poyet won’t be the new manager or head coach.

Poyet will be Sporting Director with a remit to instil an ethos and style of play throughout the club.

A young up and coming coach from the continent who plays a way Poyet respects and likes will be the new Head Coach.

I'd guess at tomorrow. When things like this happen, as in a Sunday night, there's usually someone lined up. If there wasn't, they could have done it yesterday or even in the morning. Maybe a decision was made yesterday and they've spent the last 24 hours lining up the new manager so it's all good to go tomorrow. The fact the assistant has gone too tells me there's already a solution. They took training today apparently so it may have been a surprise to them, but not to anyone else.
