That was because 6 new threads were started about the same thing . . . . what was being discussed on this thread (which one should I have left ?)
I think he’s the most logical choice, personally. Punched with Wigan and played good stuff doing it. He deserves a crack at a proper job and I don’t think he’s a gamble.
I know he is an ex-mag but what about Bowyer? Considering the state Charlton were in at the beginning of the season he has done a great job. However, I think they may bring in someone from abroad that most people don't know much about to complete the fresh start!
I don’t doubt you but I really hope he wasn’t. He’s looked like he doesn’t care, and he’s acted like he doesn’t care. So if he was told, that was pretty foolish by whoever told him.
I'd prefer the Cowleys but think Cook is probably the safe bet. Would much prefer him to Howe or Pearson who I think can only do it under a specific set of circumstances
That would show real ambition. The Cowleys are massively ambitious and have shown they can build and age is on their side to do it over a prolonged period.
You can say that at every stage until we win the Champions League as title holders .... ... then says, 'Ah yes but can we retain it?' I prefer to enjoy the moment, it may be your last.
Im not against Cowleys as they’d get us winning. Its ugly football though, slow and steady, and I think we’ve had enough of that.
