Heads up, PM on here now. Got the ok. Agree with 99% of it. CM will have a role still, but it won't be anything like what's being reported. There seems to be a very concerning agenda to **** this takeover up because a of a false narrative created by someone. Their belief that Charlie Methven will be running the club post takeover is categorically wrong. It’s just not true at all. Their belief is based on assumptions, relating to a few articles about the takeover and further information last week. They have just assumed that Charlie is the source of information for everyone and it’s spiralled out of control. Charlie will have very little say if any once this takeover is completed. The Armstrong tweet today has also come from the same weird assumptions. The club are hiring a new sporting director, like we know, and there’s going to be some serious structural changes in place. People need to need to seriously wait for the new owners to showcase their plan of action next week/week after and form their opinions of the takeover and not believe a narrative based on incorrect assumptions.
I am sitting back, relaxing and looking forward to a much brighter future. I am an optimist by choice and in this **** year I am delighted that we are getting an upturn in fortunes for our club. It is crystal clear that there are fellas on here with genuine info and they are sharing that to keep spirits up - that is massively appreciated. Lets all enjoy what is coming, it has been a while since we could look forward with hope.
There is also one other thing that people need to realise, the man himself has no desire to run the club at all.

Just said the same on the other board. Not gonna get me self excited like last time but neither am I gonna get me self wound up about methven. Wait and see what the plan is from them and then actually see if it starts to be put in to motion. Be a good while before i form an opinion about them. Either total love or what I feel towards the current lot, sheer raw hatred.
That post from Prehab should be made a sticky on here on RTG. We have a very dangerous element of our support that loves nothing more than stirring up negativity and passing off their negative agendas as facts. **** them. This sounds like its going to be very exciting news for the club
Hopefully they can get proper footballers in with further enhancements if or when we get promoted rather than players that are just here cause they’ve got “played for Sunderland” on their CV.
