Americans have always been interested. However, it's my understanding that the other bid is simply well to far down the line for a change. Wouldn't rule out a possible smaller investment linked to American though.

These Sunday paper reports are confusing me a little. I didn't honestly believe there was a possibility of more bids for the club. If so it's either Donald backtracking once more or I've been quite badly misinformed. I still believe the deal with Sartori is the most likely, I was told it would in August and have had nothing to contradict it.

Only two real options by all accounts. One group doing thorough due diligence and the price reducing by the day, the others not so thorough and that's where we ended up.
