Yesterday a lot of the time he was not even moving or running , their was no closing down and when he did get the ball more often than not he lost it and accepted it without trying to win it back . Quite honestly he looked totally disinterested , we would have been better with Gooch playing through the middle at least he puts himself about and would have troubled their two lumps of centrehalves . Defending starts from the front with closing down and a high press , that certainly wasn’t the case yesterday .
Same here... Things are at their absolute lowest at the moment and any bit of positivity, whether it be a takeover update on here or in the papers is welcomed with open arms....Of course news of Parkinson going would also raise the spirits
Pearson done an interview for the leicester gazette I think it was the other day and said he wants a job even if its in lower tier in a club that has a clear plan for the future. Thinks he has improved alot as a manager and will get even better. Also says he is happy working under a DOF. Maybe our man......
Maybe but if you allow the game to be played up to your 18 yard box then you always run the risk of the other team getting a break, just like yesterday.
Could really do without someone else trying to buy the club right now. Donald will totally **** it up and end up with nobody if he tries to turn this into an auction. So with that in mind, **** off Matty Paul. Nixon has called a lot of stuff right for us in the past so it worries me that this is true.
What's good is that there seems to be an intent to sell and buyers making themselves known ... ... if it's not concluded soon though, this will be another wasted season. I believe there's a deal already done so no idea what this story means tbh. ...
Parky is sealing his own fate with these performances. We just have to hope the takeover is confirmed sooner rather than later otherwise we'll have so much ground to make up on everyone else. We can't continue with him in charge though.
And in Diamond he had just the player to do that even better imo than Duncan who I had the highest regard. This man is seriously dangerous. and has to go asp, if SD wants to leave with any dignity sacking this useless t**t would be a good start.
If Pearson took over as manager he'd only want fit, energetic players capable of following a game plan. That would immediately lose us Wyke, Graham and possibly Grigg. Maguire and McGeady would have to radically change their attitude and waistlines or find themselves excluded. That would open the way for hungry players who aren't jaded by having played under endless managers. I think we'd see half the team changed.
