Hull website released a statement saying he's in a stable condition, so thank the gods for that.

This hit home a bit, I have friends who are/ were good friends with him from school days so it's hit them a little harder than most Spurs/ football fans and just human beings in general.

Really hope he has a full and speedy recovery. Never nice to see this happen to someone, especially someone so close to Spurs fans hearts, one of our own and a key player in our recent rise in the Poch era. Would be brilliant to see him playing again in the not so distant future.

All the best Ry <ok>

I trust we'll be singing for him at the next PL home game.
"He's one of our own.....etc"
(even if he is a secret Chelski fan!!!!)

Everyone on here - me included, of course - and not just Spurs fans - is wishing him well.
And soon.
What a dreadful thing to have happened!
But he's a tough, brave cookie, and I'm sure he'll be back before long.

Glad to hear he is in a stable condition and talking, I hope he makes a full recovery and returns to playing soon.

Petr Cech came back from a fractured skull, so I see no reason why Mason shouldnt.

BBC have just said he's conscious and talking, which is great news <ok>

Hope he's back and playing soon, Silva clearly thinks very highly of him and had him playing a key role for them.

So highly that he returned to Hull after the game. Shocking man management.
