    Over-hyped?

Maybe just looks good when compared to the rest?

Sweet left foot but nothing else?

Should have scored at least 3 when clean through?

No confidence in front of goal?

    Discuss.

Not sure about that Dai - he's played in every game other than the couple he was out through covid self isolation.

I think the first he missed was the Forest game up there and we won that.

I tried to let you down gently, but he's like The Murphy twins, runs a lot but not much end product, maybe you should have kept Josh

Has a very good left foot and puts in some great crosses - if we had more than one player in the box and on the rare occasions we have two, they take up different positions.

Craps himself in front of goal and really should have put us one up on Sunday.

As a winger he lacks half a yard of pace to get clear of defenders but so did Whitts and it was rarely a problem.

I feel he puts in too many crosses from deeper positions so Moore ends up facing away from

Perhaps he should play inside and be the creative no. 10 we crave. The trouble then is the lack of any wingers apart from the youngster who came on v Fulham.

He certainly has a skill level above most others we have. I would like to see more from Colwill.

In reality Giles is the brightest thing we have so far this season. Which says little for the other players.

Your last para picked up by OS is right. The few highlights this season include his crosses v Blackpool and twice v Millwall.

But his miss v swansea was crucial.

IMO he should be a wing back.

No chance Robbie. Giles has a few assists to his credit.

    Murphy has..............

    Gone to Preston.

I think the stark reality is that he's the "best we've got". Our style of football depends on pace out wide but we don't have any and that contributes to our current record.

There's not doubt that Giles has something. However we need to play to our strengths while coaching other strengths. He is weak in front of goal but that can be changed with work. Yes he puts in too many crosses from deep but if that's his thing then we need to ensure that other personnel are in box or running onto his crosses.

At the moment we're not playing as a unit. Each of the cogs in our machine are detached and running independently. A good 'mechanic' can fix that and turn us into a better footballing unit.
