More than the media loving United/hating Chelsea isn't it a case of one of them has done one very bad thing and one has done one very bad thing, a few quite bad things and a long list of minor things? If Giggs had done all those things he'd be as disliked as Terry.
Everyone hate him and loves Cheryl. He's been a fantastic player for us fro six seasons and we don't even sing his name.
I don't love Cheryl, think she's a gimp who makes **** tunes. I'm just going by the logic of many that we shouldn't care who people have affairs with, what Giggs did is far worse than Cole in my humble opinion.
I don't think many people other than Arsenal and Spurs fans really care about Ashley Cole. If they do it's probably because his ex has become some sort of national darling for some reason or that in the past he has come across as a bit arrogant with that story of swerving his car off the road when he heard Arsenal's contract offer.
He used to get boo'ed every single away match without fail. He is an arrogant bellend but so are a lot of players.

Mate, sleeping with your brotherâs wife once make you the ****ing lowest of the low. Doing it for years and carrying on as if **** all has happened put that individual on par with dog ****. There can never be any kind of justification for what he did .
To be fair the guy said that he felt physically sick when he was offered 55k a week, now to us mere mortals who will never earn that in a year, that is going to make people hate you. Even if that is the way he felt, only someone who is either extremely stupid, or arrogant would actually say it, and not expect the general public to take offence.
Footballers in general are so immersed in their bubble they have no idea of the real world. Before the last game of the season, Ashley Young was saying how he hoped QPR could do him a favour and didn't add a token "even though I know I'm not their favourite player" type of comment. Some of these guys have been making in a week what you or I do in a year since they were 19 or 20 and don't have a clue.
