Who isn't underdogs against them ?

Always support the British clubs in Europe, do well will keep Moyes in place and I hate this fast turnover manager system we have in place at the moment so, come on you Devils

Depends really, could support Man U against some: Chesea, Lazio, Glasgow Rangers etc.

Man U are 6/1 to win at home tonight. At the weekend Sheff Wednesday travel to runaway leaders Leicester and are the same odds. That's how extreme Man U's decline has been.

Saying that, I might have a cheeky bet on that, could see a shocking game being nicked 1-0.

I am English first and then British. I don't consider myself European.
I said British because there are teams from all over Britain competing in European competitions during a season.

Not sure what you're driving at, but it seems we're singing from the same song sheet to me!

Defending hasn't been United's forte lately, Guardiola will have done his homework and I fully expect Bayern to fill their boots. As one wag said today "£10 on Man Utd at 13/2 means you'll lose £10"...

There's some paranoia comes about on this issue though. I've got a hospital appointment in a couple of weeks and this is the form they want me to fill in before I get there:

    hospital.jpg

Other than the fact it looks amateur because they can't even get the boxes to line up with the options it does show the option to be English.

Good performance from Utd to hold Bayern to 1-1. Two very good goals in the game and they go into the 2nd leg with half a chance!

Bayern also loses Martinez and Schweinsteiger from the second leg. That certainly wont make UTD:s chances any less. Bayern of course are still big favourite to go through.......

Dante is back from suspension for the second leg and will replace Martinez, making the defence better. Replacing Schweinsteiger will be more difficult. Thiago got injured at the weekend and are out for two months, he would have been the obvious choice. Second choice would have been Martinez, meaning Guardiola will have to go for a more attacking player. It's between Gotze, Muller or Shaqiri. I have a feeling Guardiola will opt for Shaqiri and start Mandzukic instead of Muller up front. Not bad options at all, and it wouldn't make United's chances any better imo.

Well, the ref was the difference tonight between the draw United got and a thumping. How many times will this happen?

Valencia should have walked after jumping into Boateng - even that moron Townsend said he was lucky. Then Vidic goes down holding his face after no contact whatsoever, meaning Martinez is banned for the return. And Schwienstiger got the ball before Rooney fell over his legs. Never a booking, and now he's banned too. Roy Keane admitted as much, when he said he 'wouldn't judge Rooney too harshly' - meaning he got away with one. Shades of him being sent off against Portugal - he's shown his true colours now.

Had Utd gone down to 10 men when they deserved to, it would just have been a matter of time...

That pretty much summed it up, didn't want to say it myself. Only one correction, it was Mandzukic who got a yellow against Vidic (who did a Rivaldo(see below)). Martinez yellow was for fouling Hernandes, which was a correct call from the ref.

Good result for Atletico at Barca. They always seem to have a great striker - Torres (when he was good), Forlan (the good version) Costa, Aguerro, now Falcao......

Shouldn't it be Falcao now Costa?

Wouldn't mind their scout though, that is where Tony should spunk his cash.

Now you mention it, I don't remember saying I was English, but then I don't remember having to say I was British either when I've been through US and Canadian immigration. The rest of my trips have been in the EU, and I don't even remember going through immigration for those. Are you sure it was because you were saying you were English that they nearly chucked you out? It wasn't that when they ran your name in their computer it brought up your posts on here. ;)

I'd be more likely to be asked if I wanted haggis or deep fried pizza at my local hospital, being that it's Scottish rather than northern.
