This is the little chat that the club recently said didn't happen and that JayRod has not said anything about wanting to leave or pushing for it, is it..?
It happened, Poch also had a chat with Lallana before left as well. Why would Jay be pushing for a move when he is still injured? Of course he will just stay quiet and get fit. Unless he has changed his mind ( I doubt it) he still very much wants to link up with Poch.
"It happened" - What's the evidence? "Why would Jay be pushing for a move when he is still injured?" - Where's the basis for this? Who says he's pushing? "he still very much wants to link up with Poch." - any evidence? It all seems to be self-stoking. The fact that it seems to have become common knowledge that JR wants to leave does not make it true. No-one, whenever this has been asked, had answered with any evidence or source for comments. To be clear, I'm not saying it isn't happening (I don't know either way), just that I have yet to see any credible evidence when it's been questioned. Vin
starting to ponder whether it's plausible pinocchio spoke to lallana to see if he was bent on leaving southampton and maybe that made his mind up to go. I never fancied his chances of replacing our key players, maybe he didn't either.
I gave info before on other stuff that has happend at Saints, Wanyama deal, Lovren acting a twat etc and a few other people that would know have said the same thing (DTLW).
Do you know...I don't care now. I would love him to fully recover and play for us, but not interested in keeping players who don't want to stay. We needed to with Morgan because we needed to stop the rot and we needed him, but we don't need Jay.
I wasn't privy to the conversation, but someone I know to be very close to Jay and his family told me that Mauricio approached the family and told them that he'd very much like to work with Jay at his new club - and that he'll try to make it happen. This was in March time, with Lovren's story collaborating the fact that the players knew Poch was off at the end of the season... Spurs job came up in January. Go figure.
Well done. I'm asking what's the basis for the rumours ref Rodriguez? Actually, forget it. I forgot that you don't like arguments with a factual basis to them. Vin
I forgot you can't be polite and not act a twat . I don't mind you questioning me but the way you put your posts come across as confronting me in a way.
anyway, Bertrand is chummy with Cork and Cork is chummy with Jay. Why haven't we sorted out Jack? Can't be a bargaining position with Jay. He'll get a club no problem.
Mauricio talking to players in March makes me dislike him even more. I noticed he disappeared from the training galleries towards the end of the season. Hope he gets the sack and dandruff.
Nope, sorry - possibly about protecting Jay, or maybe they didn't even get given that information from the Rodriguez clan themselves. Nothing about Jay's response or anything like that, although if you're into cryptic clues or the like... Jay's dad 'followed' Spurs on Twitter in March/April.
Cork is keeping his head down about the whole situation....his Dad must be an embarrassment to him. Not a case of leaking stuff to the press (normally done by agents), but more slagging off the club.
Last tweet from Alan on the matter everything quiet or positive since then but nothing indicating a deal in the offing. Then again, maybe that disgusting sofa is his signing bonus. https://twitter.com/alancorky/status/527069550475751425
Yeah, yeah. Wanting evidence is weird. Just like the last time you argued with me. My asking for evidence rather than just believing your opinions really annoys you, so it's my fault that you read that as confrontational. I like your logic. I tried to keep that short but given your response last time, I have no doubt it was too long for you to read. Cue trite insult and "I'm not playing any more". Vin
