God imagine how gutted he would be if we were relegated lol..also imagine how many goals he would get in the championship!

Anyway..anyone got an idea of how much money we will have to spend this summer?

TO be fair I don't think that 8.5 mill will affect our summer budget as we were looking to spend that much on Hooper in January. I reckon we probably will have a decent budget this summer.

Agreed with this, escepially taking the final loan payment this summer into account as well
Most of the few would have come out of this seasons budget as a guess

Did anyone else catch the interview on talkSPORT about half an hour ago with their Dutch corespondent ? He rates RVW highly and said that he comes from a footballing family, his father-in-law is Johan Neeskins too. Older posters will remember him playing in that great Dutch side of '74 <ok>

Yes, CH almost spent that much in January on Hooper, so we should have quite a decent budget for new players in the summer. I expect that the playerd who haven't figured much this season will be sold.

Am I right in thinking that Hoolahoops is now ur longest serving player.?? <ok>

Longest in the seniors, yes, but KK tweeted the other day that George Francomb has been contracted to Norwich for longer.

Cheers KIO. Did I hear that chap right?! Van Wolfswinkel is like Michael Owen, but with more height and the attitude of Dirk Kuyt?!

If he is half as good as his hype then this is one of the most remarkable signings in Premier League history! :D

The last time I remember this much enthusiasm over the signing of a foreign player was in 1980 when we broke our transfer record and signed Drazen Muzinic. I am not even remotely suggesting that the outcome will be the same but equally it might be wise not to go too much OTT at this stage.
