Be careful my friend...Piskie: KYLE? and COYG told me off for making a joke about some-ones bad typing... you're going to wake up with a horses head in your bed if you do it again
Ben Arfa is better than Messi, unlike Messi, Arfa shows his skills in the EPL on cold nights at the likes of Stoke
Are you dumb? Did I say they're better than RVP? You can't COMPARE RVP, A STRIKER, TO A BLOODY DEFENDER OR MIDFIELDER. So my point is that you're silly when calling RVP the 'best' player at Arsenal, he was our best STRIKER. But then throughout the team we have a lot of quality players for their positions, who are JUST AS IMPORTANT TO THE TEAM IN THEIR RESPECTIVE POSITION AS RVP WAS, now do you get it? So for example Vermaelen in the heart of our defence, is just as important and crucial as RVP was in his role, being the striker. And I know we signed good players, overall, we have had a much better summer transfer of bringing in players than you have, which is why your manager, whinged like a hypocrite when PSG took your coveted Brazilian player. LOL, your manager complaining about the madness of the transfer market, when he is a prime reason for inflated prices. Remember how you sold Ronaldo for 80 million? Setting a new precedent and completely inflating the player transfer market, and this was even before Mancity were spending money like mad. You really aren't doing anything to dispel my claims that you Mancs are just too stupid for proper football arguments and discussions. Do everyone a favour, just go chant UNITED, ROOONEYY, ROOONEY, it's all you're really capable of properly doing.
Hey Kagawa, nice new signing, Alex Buttner, LOL, yeah, our summer transfer deals have really been on par with United haven't they? If you think RVP, Kagawa, Powell, and BUTTner> Podolski, Giroud, Cazorla, and Sahin, then you need to have you head examined. Just go ask 9 out of 10 people which summer transfer they'd prefer, and I think you'd get the answer. RVP is the only signing that masks what a terrible summer transfer you have had.
Yawn. I bet you say this every year and ever year we go on to completely outclass you in the league. Take the blinkers off, you're more deluded than a Liverpool fan. Even if your signings are the best players in the world and not Chamaks MkII it won't mean anything because: A) You will still play the boring, predictable tippy tappy game that failed for years. B) If they are that good one of the big clubs will just buy them in a couple years. You're a feeder club, get used to it. Even with an on fire RVP scoring for fun last year you still only scrapped third, miles behind the top two because your team and playstyle are poor and you'll be lucky to scrape fourth this year.
That Arsenal87 can be very tiring cant he piskers Anyway I take it you will all be watching your hero tonight Robin van Percie
Not to get into an argument here but you lot are not in a position to use that really, all things considered. Nothing though, the first time since 2006. How about yourselves?
Our trophy drought is well publicised. Nothing new there. Though for a club used to winning things every season it must be hard to go through an entire season without winning anything.
Not really, makes the next ones ever better. Winning every year would be boring really, need fresh new challenges and something to get the players fired up. Nothing will do that more than last seasons failure
And what if you united don't win anything again?... Shock horror. Pay the refs more money. I think your time as the dominant force in Manchester is well and truely over. City splash the cash and player for player united just can't compete with them even with mr RVP. I remember the days fergue used to go and find gems. Now he bags em off Arsenal tut tut tut must be losing his touch or just getting lazy in his old age. Like you said kagawa a feeder club like Arsenal are not expected to win things but for united that's considered a meteorical disaster not matter what spin you try to put on it almost like you let city win the league last season just to keep it interesting... Lol funny.
Well it is an interesting question. With the rise of Manchester City, your days of guaranteed title success are over. Not saying you'll never win another trophy but things just became a lot harder. Be interesting to see what happens next.
We were never guaranteed success and we have seen off bigger challenges than City over the years and from much worse positions. remember United 2004-2006? A certain Chelsea side that dominated the PL for 2 years and still holds the record for the most points. A far far superior team to Man City today.
I was referring to more recent times. Man United have almost always been seen as favourites for the title. Chelsea since Mourinho left (barring Ancelotti) have not been the force they were. Arsenal and Liverpool have challenged only sporadically. Manchester City are the latest side to offer a threat (and probably the greatest in the last couple of years. Last season I witnessed something interesting. Manchester United did not manage to beat Manchester City in the league although they defeated them in the FA cup. This season Manchester City have the advantage of the experience of winning the league, a mental block which has been overcome. I'm not making any predictions. We will see what happens this season.
Oi Mr Utd fan! How can you mention 2004-2006 and say Chelsea where the team to beat! During that period we had the invincibles, we beat Utd in the FA Cup Final and we lost to Barca in the CL Final after losing our GK to a red card! Edit: Just to be clear, Chlesea where also better than Utd at this time, so you were only the third best team (good choice by you of a time when Utd where in a struggle though)
Erm because I was meaning start of 2004 to end of 2006, that 2 season period where Chelsea won b2b titles. Arsenal won the titles in 2004 and won the FA Cup in the most one sides final ever against us ( we wee the side who dominated btw incase you thought I meant you dominated ). Chelsea were the team to beat then.
