Well I apologise for being abrasive. I'm not a massive Lowe basher, I just thought it was interesting that he owns the property. Its no different to the way many landlords treat tenants, unfortunately the law is still firmly on the side of the landlord rather than tenant. As I mentioned above, if this had been published in the Echo then I'm sure everyone would think it was relevant.
Tenants aren't always the innocents though. My brother rented a house out..tenant did a flit after breaking all the doors down and smashing the bannisters and stairs. Pointless damage for no reason. This is the reason why landlords can be very selective about tenants and demand so much up front. My brother wasn't doing it as a business...just helping someone out...never again.
Maybe. Lets look at it another way. Supposing Lowe was on this forum, anonymously of course, and he put his side of the story (if he has one) naming all names other than his. Would you be happy about that? If the answer is, "no" then I don't think you should have started this thread. If you're answer is, "yes" then, fair enough.
