no chance do i want this guy. hes a Harry..picking his son in law Van Bomell over VDV......when its the obvious wrong choice...plus would unsettle VDV.
Whoever Levy appoints, he better make the right decision otherwise our `change of direction` may well be one way.... down the table.
Jeff Stelling reckons Poyet should get the job http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,12088_7814233,00.html
I'd like to see Rudi Garcia considered. No prem experience but CL experience with Lille. Every team he has managed in Ligue 1 has played exciting attacking football. 17 years management experience but still only 48 years old. A far better option than the rest of the dross that has been suggested.
Yes, I know he has just signed up with Locomotive Moscow, but Slaven Bilic was and still is my choice. Would clearly cost to get him at this stage and we have just paid Harry £3m to go, but I reckon he would want to come to WHL - and is certainly the sort of manager that could survive and thrive in the PL.
i like Slavan too..he seems to have a zest about him...and i think he would have affinity with the fans....something i felt Harry wasnt botherd about...the most touching thing i heard from him was when he was interviewed from his Range Rover yesterday....but as you know slavan Bilic has a new job..i cant see us paying to get him to be honest.
He's done playing so he can't need them that much, lol. It would be a big show of how much he wants to come to Spurs.
Think of it as an apprenticeship - he has next to no experience in club management (a short caretaker stint at Dinamo Zagreb, before taking the Croatia job), plus his brief at Lokomotiv is to get them European football, which is a Top 8 finish, then finish in the Top 6 when the league splits.
ha ha yes but at his stage of his career he should be moving to a top league, i mean if at his age he is moving to a league just for money then it doesn’t show much ambition.
