Oct last year I was in a minor car accident, and I put up a thread titled 'Rumpole something'. Anyway I can't find the old thread. It was where I got the women to text me to say that 'her cousin would repair my car and she would pay for it'. 14 mths later, after she and her insurance company did not answer any letters from the people representing me and the court letter saying that they ruled in my favour and then they were threatened with the bailiffs I have now got my cheque for my access and other cost, phone calls etc. Total cost for her and her issurance for ALL cost nearly 2k. It seemed that the text message was very important. No winners really as my partner was *hitting her self if having to go to court.

Sounds like the court treated the text as an admission of liability. Her insurance company probably told her to shut up thereafter, she'd said too much already. Good to hear it was resolved in your favour.
