Not really wanting an argument mate I just don’t like seeing what Ashley does to the club in all honesty. What I say stands though no investment in the next 12 months and Rafa goes. Simple as that and then as a club we would be right up **** creek. If I have to watch Joselu prancing around like a fairy for another season my eyes might pop!
Yeah, but we will no matter what we say! I disagree with His Royal Pouchness as we have far more previous, factual history of the fat man fcking everything up than getting things right. We act slow in the market at all times, as we run a skeleton crew of exec management. We have no financial plans so have to wait for money in the account before doing anything - the reality of this model is that it's only useful in helping mitigate against an inevitable, eventual relegation; it doesn't help building for a better future. We won't know anything for certain til mid-August. I'm with you, though, I think we'll under-invest once again and be left grasping at straws. Another Rafa miracle will probably be enough to see us safe then he'll leave. The only possible difference is looking at Spain, as I could well imagine he could be off to that job assuming the Spanish FA cough up the £6m. We've had a real positive bump last year, not dissimilar to the season finishing 5th, where a lot of factors contributed to a season of over-achievement. But that's two seasons of good in over a decade of garbage. We'll all be here, whingeing or not, come August so like everything have no real choice but to wait and see.
Mate I have a confession. Everyone will be shocked by this. Most of what I type is a piss take. I don’t trust this regime at all and he’ll probably try to run it on a shoestring again now we have stayed up. To be honest I thoroughly enjoyed reading your rant.
