But in the first instance no tv money and no money from visiting Celtic or rangers (even if rangers remain ) less fans would go there= initial downsizing. May eventually be a good thing, but initially it would affect them
Which may actually be a good thing and may create more interest. Celtic FC would have to relocate to England. A better solution would be to join the Irish League, a sort of spiritual homecoming.
7 down , rangers have won 54 of them begins with t , 7 letters ??? 5 across , when you get a bill , what do you do with it ??? 2 words 3 and 2 letters , not in Rangers case ??? 6 across , How many goals did Celtic score in 1957 league cup final against Rangers 5 letters
Yer such a WUM bastard even when trying to be serious ER. The SPL is a joke of a league already, but letting Rangers back in as a Newco would push it over the edge, I'd rather see them off to the third division and re-earn it, and hopefully a few of the glory-hunters would realign themselves with local clubs like Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts and Dundee Utd. It would help the Scottish game in my opinion, supporting your local team!
Yep. A Rangers newco should be in the 3rd division. It would be farcical to keep them in the SPL. Also, from a selfish (and footballing) point of view I'd rather watch us compete in the lower leagues over the next 3 or more seasons rather than be artifically kept in the top flight and hamstrung (with 10-15 point deductions and 75% of revenue confiscated if rumours are to be believed). It wouldn't be worth watching.
Should you be liquidated it is all I would ask. And imagine being there for Glasgow Rangers United first ever league title It's something you could tell your Celtic supporting grandkids about
If the shoe was on the other foot I'd feel exactly the same. No point in staying in the SPL for the extra revenue while being handicaped - and then be met with questions of sporting integrity for the rest of your existence. Better just to put your hands up and say we've ****ed up, we'll start again from the bottom and no one can ever question whether or not we are deserving of competing in this competition.
I love this rumour : all part of the rich tapestry of football in scotchland......I do occasionally wonder if it does quite hit these extreme soap-opera levels in many other countries ?
Personally, because I have two feet I like to have a shoe on each. Crazy I know but hey what the **** do I know.
Exactly ; walk a mile in my shoes I say ; Not only will you be a mile away from me, but you will also have my shoes.
Depends on the shoes though. If you put the shoe on the other foot, then you're shoe is going to be on the wrong foot, unless of course you are a rubbish dancer and as such, have two left feet in which case you'd imagine that you had two left shoes.
It appears Doncastor and Rangers want to have a SPL that is not ethical and no intentions of been ethical. In future SPL campaigns diabolical and bigoted referees cannot be queried as the SPL as proved itself to be unethical. Match rigging will also be the norm. This board is something similar as Maltese Mick ignores racist comments. It is bad for any forum to have racist comments but it is a lot worse when it has been pointed out to the owner and he decides to ignore them. I am sure many posters will be delighted to feel free to be racist, knowing that it is acceptable but I for one have to much regard for the Celtic club and even its forums to lower myself to the level of mindless scum that Mick seems to tolerate.
