I think this has been mentioned already, but the fact that it's in the Pink'un tends to give it more credibility. Surely they wouldn't trust him with another £8m to sit and fester on the bench - or nowhere in sight, as per Canos, Pritchard, Oliveira and Naismith for a large chunk of the season?
That's circa £20m of 'talent' that predominantly gets totally overlooked.
Plus can add Klose to the list if he's left out again this weekend!
Idiocy and wasting money we as a club don't have <grr>

We need another striker, but I don't want him. Stinks of another Grabban, Lafferty, Oliveira. Not a stand out striker. Just someone that they can say "Look, we signed a striker like you all wanted!!"

Bit of a gamble whether he could step up to the PL one day, but we've reached the point now where we need to gamble!
Good grief! At present, he could make the transition far more easily than we could. Redmond couldn't "step up" while at Norwich, but surrounded by like minded players and positive, attacking tactics throughout the team, he's like a thing possessed!
Not something we, as a club, need to be overly concerned about while AN ploughs his single track furrow which every other manager has sussed out but he hasn't twigged that yet! <grr>

Hogan would also be a risk given his injury record, including an ACL which kept him out a long time. This season he has 11 goals in 18 matches playing in the same 4-2-3-1 formation we use, so he could slot in fairly readily. We'll see how he does on Saturday.

As for Redmond, I'd hardly call 3 goals in 13 matches that impressive, but he's doing OK.

Cromer: thanks for the warning - I was so chuffed by the result I wanted to let everybody know there and then!
Yes, it should have been in Youth and Loan watch. Has anybody mentioned Roy Hodgson being touted as a possible replacement for AN? Mixed feelings about this one, but if its experience we are after then he seems to fit the bill.

No worries, mate, it appears DD hasn't even noticed. Not sure any of us would lose sleep
even if he did!
Just wish the 'proper' team could beat somebody 5 - 1, just to restore some faith in the main event!

Brentford fan on The Scrimmage BBC Radio Norfolk claims that Hogan wants to play in Premiership suggesting that playing for NCFC was not on his agenda. Also, cannot see the Board wanting to pay another
£8m to probably sit alongside Pritchard and Klose on the bench. I bet Pritchard wishes he had gone to Brighton who are likely to get promotion.

And he would have played more regularly!!!

And he would have played more regularly!!!
And in his preferred position, mainly, too.
If Pritchard's agent has any savvy, he'll be eyeing up a move for the player in January.
Having watched how AN has reduced Naismith from an £8m+ player to a £1.5-2m at best, he won't want to see his client fester and lose sell-on value on our bench if he has any sense.
Could you blame him, FFS? <grr>

Great result, well played NCFC - but a word of warning, if (shhh!) Duncan D. sees this on the 'rumour mill' thread instead of the 'Youth and loanee watch' thread, your life won't be worth living 2010! <yikes>

;)
This board has already descended into Anarchy thanks to the haphazard stewardship from the inhuman staff members .
