Don't know if it has been said on here, just had a scan through. Apparently Wells has rejected a new contract. So could negotiate a better price. Although I think the article said that a few clubs including us are now interested. So Price goes back up again, I suppose.
Who's the Port Vale Defender? It's not young Nathan Smith is it? A lot of hype about him, and linked with Premiership teams in the Summer, he'd be an exciting signing, but not sure about making an impact this season.
Is Barnsley Midfielder Butterfield back? Think I saw someone mention him on the forum the other day. Not bothered about him, unless we have a clear out. I can't imagine we will though.

Second paragraph: "Why sack a manager with five games left"! Perhaps he wasn't at the previous game when the whole stadium turned on Hughton.....what the flucking hell was that being sung, those bloody clappers reigning down on him amongst other things. There wasn't much option for the board! Didn't agree with Neil Adams being promoted but it happened!

when they're needed the most, so far this season
I take his point, though, for the board to persevere with Hughton so late in the season was mental - and Adams then had five of the toughest fixtures of the whole campaign to try and negotiate. No chance!
People moaning about AN not appearing to learn from former mistakes made, but it's becoming endemic - the board have clearly learned fook awl either
