Will loaning Toffolo to Scunny seem a good idea if Olsson (and Brady) leaves ..........
I could well see that happening. It wouldn't surprise me if he was talked into a new contract on the condition that if an appropriate offer came in we'd let him go. He gets a (temporary?) move back to the Prem, and we get a healthy fee rather than him running his contract down and leaving for nothing.
The Pinkun simply copies the rumours from other sources, as they freely admit, so this doesn't carry that much weight. It could be true or it could be a rumour revived based on previous interest.
Meanwhile we're being linked with Sam Winnall at Barnsley who is in the last 6 months of his contract and thus available at a reasonable price. SW are also interested. He's scored 22 goals in 22 games this season.

Many moons ago I played in the same school team as Keith Webb (remember him Ex City Coach), we had a great side and Keith was head and shoulders above anyone else. When he never made it as a pro with City I realised then just how bloody good you have to be to make it
From the player's point of view I really don't understand that move as he would almost certainly be playing Championship football again next year if he went to Swansea and he'd have to move to Wales !

How are we going to get a LB replacement for under 5M who is good enough to then adapt to Premiership potential. Otherwise what is the point in selling, especially for sod all!

We always sell then try and panic buy replacements! I'd love just once, for us to have brought a player in, meaning we could let another go!!
If Jacob goes to Spurs I'd be so gutted and let down. Murphy is never going to play regular at Spurs this season!
I bet it is for only about 5 or 6 million. Which again, would be very cheap.

So we sell Olsson, Ja. Murphy, Canos and Brady. This should bring in at least £25m ? Let's see, Olsson replaced by some past it LB on the cheap and the others not replaced? I can see we might get into a fire sale and be left with a side not capable of even making the play-offs. Come on lads and lasses anybody seen a miracle around CR?
