I suspect that we would want cash only for Brady as we seem to be hard up again. Sorry, still don't understand why. A mate of mine is a Watford fan and has told me that Sinclair is unlikely to be loaned out or sold as Watford have several players out injured. McCormack seems to have had a sudden dip in form at Villa and seems too much of a gamble now

McCormack has become the new Afobe / Gayle. AN all over him like a rash in one window when we can't get him, then when there is a more than fair chance, gets all petulant and drops his interest.
With hindsight we potentially dodged bullets with Afobe & McCormack - but Gayle has been on fire all season :emoticon-0106-cryin

In the right team both Afobe & McCormack would likely excel again. At championship level they have both been good before and will be again. I don't think McCormack would be a good fit for an Alex Neil side, but if a team plays to his strengths then there be goals in that thar player!

Bah!

Thinking about RVW again leads me to work out where we have spent large amounts and sold the same player for a big loss. Bought for £8.5m and sold for £0.5m. The Belgian lad, now in Poland, cost £4.5m and sold for £0.5m? These are only two that I can recall quickly but there must have been others.

Naismith and Pritchard soon? We,ve also made gains on players in that period too though. Redmond Bought £3.2m, sold £11m. Grabarse, bought £3m, sold £7m. BJ Free, sold £6m. So it's swings and roundabouts. Brady also sounds like we'll turn a profit if he goes. And had we sold CJ when was it Borough came calling, we may have made a pretty penny there too.

Bah!

WetSham are paying nothing for the running of their stadium/security etc and then they offer Hull £3M for Snoddy - http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...t-robert-snodgrass-after-3m-bid-a3436296.html!!! <rofl>
If they're serious, they have to put a '1' in front of the '3' and I'd love to see them relegated.

You would have to say that there can't be any truth in that story. There is no way in hell they could even unsettle a player leave alone buy him with trying to pay at the very most a third of his worth. Unless of course McNally has found a new job and is trying his ridiculous lowballing technique again?

Bah!

Spurs are and have always been a selling club, once the big boys come knocking. I'm sure Spurs would not want to sell and hold out for more, but if united can pay them double and possibly offer a more consistent long term chance at the title/champions league then it could happen.
Totally logical (as usual) Captain.

As a result, Villa will be in the market for a replacement, with owner Dr Tony Xia making it clear that funds will be available to strengthen the squad.

However, with reported target Jeffrey Schlupp set to be swayed by West Brom’s Premier League status rather than face the prospect of dropping down a division, the Birmingham Mail add, Villa could step up their interest in Robbie Brady.

Arrogant t@ssers!
What makes them think that Brady doesn't aspire to top flight football (and wages), just like Schlupp?
If Palace and Leicester are reportedly interested, why the hell would he go to Villa?

Money! why did McCormack? It's just possible with wealthy backers that Villa may just offer more. On top of that, maybe Brady fancies having a whole season without relegation!

Bah!

So Hogan is off to WetSham for £12M and Brentford are going to use some of that to buy Canos for £2.5M. Good business if you ask me.
