His contract is up and he's over 23, so he wouldn't require a transfer fee. Posh can't be paying him that much and they aren't re-signing him.
 
These days, if the player wants to go, there's not much you can do except get the best fee you can.
 
I'm not sure if it's an official account or not (and to be honest, I didn't even know I followed it), but Chamberlain (if it is him) has just tweeted: "In response to the rumours currently going around, I am not in talks with Arsenal. But I am in talks with a PL club."
 
Getting really fed up with this will he, won't he. If he wants to stay great, but if he doesn't want to play for Saints then let's just see the colour of the money. I do know one thing, if it is AOC tweeting, Nicola won't be best pleased. Likes to keep things quiet.

Chamberlain's not on Twitter. All accounts on there are fakes and have been rubbished by the club when asked about before.
 
If Chamberlain was on twitter he certainly wouldn't be allowed to discuss transfer dealings would he? Especially with the way in which our club secretly does it's buisness in the transfer market.
 
Its inevitable when small clubs get a load of really good players. I'd imagine ther are quite a few sides chasing him. Fergie junior probably brought them in with some help from Fergie senior!
 
This is my favorite thread and if it's not stickied or bumped, then we're going to get 34 different threads all just like it. I vote for a sticky again.

In the meantime... Craig Mackail-Smith is saying he wants EPL experience, which likely means we're not getting him. :(
 
CMS would've been good but realistically he's going to choose a Prem team over us.
 
Guys and Gals if you want this to be put back up the top you need to tell us.......and not just the odd one or two.
Each new rumour perhaps needs to be discussed on its merit?
If you want them merged with this one then that is what we can do. Or merged together if they are on the same subject but kept seperate from this thread.
 
I think we should ban DTLW from this thread otherwise they'll be 10 new players a day joining the club <doh>

He wants to be a journalist and we all know what journalists are well known for... BUGG3R ALL <ok>

None of the rumours have any merit whatsoever with the club being so secretive. Probably best to keep this thread as a general transfer banter thread. I hated the old 606 when each subject had several threads devoted to it.
