Maybe I havent made my point clearly. Any form of road crime is intolerable! Whether it is no licence or driving under the influence of alchol or drugs - it ivalidates your insurance! My point is that it is common for footballers from every club to drive knowingly without the meeting the legal criteria and yet NOBODY says anything! They get a fancy lawyer and get a reduced penalty because of a technical lope hole? There is no excuse for Pennant, but just because someone else drivers sober, if they have no DL they aren't insured. Yet club offials around the country dont even express concerned that a Tevez (for example) gets done for not having a DL or insurance but still drives to the training ground? There is such a thing as corporate manslaughter - if a company knowingly lets a driver to drive illegally! Thats the point the clubs all know yet they do fuk all about it?

unfortunately a lot of professional footballers think that they are above the law. He will get a hefty prison sentence for this and will be finished at Stoke city fc. What a ****ing idiot!!!
He should get hammered - its a disgrace! But the sooner all players know that they are not above the law the better - and the clubs can play a significant role in it! They do random drug tests so why cant they do a DVLA check! I see pennant blasting around in his chromed up Aston all the time, I cant believe he has never been pulled on a random stop before - he drives like an idiot!
It's not just players though, there are thousands of pricks going about with no licence or insurance. It must be harder to get away with in such flash cars and being so high profile, but still, some people just think they can get away with these things.
