Well with Maynard, Johnson and Hunt gone off the wage bill plus cash for the sale of Maynard does this mean we are in for an interesting few hours?

I know we've been linked with Morris and Sandaza today but would like to see a quality centre back in as first priority. Maybe Stephen McManus as posted by I think Wiz yesterday? Would be a cracking signing.

OTIB - not exactly official is it? Everyone seems to be saying it's a done deal so let's hope so.
Sick of talking about it - I want someone exciting in to give us a positive to squabble over instead!

No Nicky Maynard yet but the BBC has just flashed that WHU are close to the signings completion..
 
I think we have yet to agree a fee with west ham hence the hold up! They know that in a few hrs he is worthless so are holding out hoping we drop our asking price

Maynard was put up for sale in the January transfer market after failing to negotiate a new contract at Ashton Gate, with rumoured interest from Jordan Tansley - who wanted him all to himself.[10] On 31st January 2012, it was rumored that Maynard would move to West Ham, however this deal was never concluded and the new front runners for his signatures are A.C. Milan or F.C. Barcelona, where he will pair up with Lionel Messi

This just goes to show how much truth there is on that load of tosh!
 
According to WH fans on their forum Sullivan's son has just tweeted that it's a done deal. He put the Morison and Vaz Te deals on before anyone else. Only an hour to go now either way!
