where exactly do you think its came from?
its not like hes saddam who took money from his ppl and kept it for himself, same with gaddafi and the Egypt president.

his money now is in facebook, zynga and groupon do you think that these ppl who run these companies think about where he got his money

with his FB investment he paid 230mil for 1. odd % stake in over 1 yr its worth treble that and if the forcasts are right and by 2013 fb will be worth 26bil just think how much that 1.odd% stake would be worth, to me thats a very good investment by usmanov, and i think arsenal need minds like that to move up to the next lvl me and every fan are crying out for. while the way the board are dein will never be back on the board there would be a much higher chance he could if usmanov was given a seat. it might not be himself sitting in meetings but could use dein to do it then everyone is happy

  3. Well Lee I think Robin vF's concern is the other 'unknown' side of Mr Usmanov. I can understand his caution though I would say that the allegations are unproven and while they may be so, it can give concern that he should choose not to take Craig Murray to court since he surely can afford it and I'm not certain if Craig Murray can. Instead he has had his team of lawyers deal with it. Now if I were in his shoes I think I would seek the advice of a lawyer too and I'll bet that a lawyer who was cyber savvy would be likely to suggest a similar course of action. Who amongst us would care for to be accused in such a manner and do nothing about it? On the other hand, I have heard and read about Craig Murray to know he is a moral person who would I imagine not put out what he did not believe himself. Thus I am torn. My club or principles. The latter should win everytime out but the case against Alisher Usmanov remains unproven and till then I would not wish to throw stones in his direction. I imagine worse individuals have invested in sports organisations, indeed in legitimate organisations. Would I then take his money? Well I'm glad I'm not in the position to decide but if I were, then the presumption of innocence must apply to everyone.

Your point about a seat on the board is interesting and could be the ticket.

tbh i do have reservations about usmanov but if he can help the club then he should be given the opportunity to do it.

stan came to our club and was not wanted then was given a seat on the board now hes our 'owner' but the club seems no better off, i know its still early days but still, how bad can giving usmanov the chance to help out, and no i dont just want his money but the idea that he put in for a share issue to raise 100mil would of helped the club more than harm it, but got shot out of the water, and in the mean time our club has fallen behind man utd chelsea and now man city and put us fighting spurs for 4th instead of the title

I think to willingly associate ourselves with someone like him is unacceptable for the club, how can we talk down to other clubs again knowing that any success we might get was funded by a rapist?

As I pointed out, your being very selective here, van persie charges were only dropped due to lack of evidence , and the women who accused him still claims it is the truth. So you wont accept someone onto the board who hasn't even been charged with an alleged offence, but your willing to have someone who was previously charged (meaning there must have been some evidence to warrant a charge) play in the team, seem a bit hypocritical to me.

And as I have already replied huh? The police have looked at RvP's case and decided not to charge him, if they had done then you can be sure that I would not want him to play for us. Why should I insist upon him leaving the club when he was not charged with any crime? Usmanov is a different case though because he has not been properly investigated by the police and the charges against him are much more serious. Also, as i said before, we wouldn't have taken RvP on if he had been charged with rape when we were looking at him because it would have been irresponsible, the same applies to Usmanov.
