Yeah agree re Scotland frightening when the pitch opens up for them, can’t give them an inch Van der merwe is one of my favourite players built like a second row speed and feet of a winger, so dangerous I wouldn’t even waste my time trying to tackle him, congratulation him on the 5 points as he went past me
He walked past me the other day and he isn't as big as I thought but then as soon as he's on the pitch he's a beast Starting watching the 2nd series on the 6 nations show on Netflix last night
What I don't get about the 6 nations is that England have been pretty ****e for a while in this tournament yet when a world cup rolls around the likes of Ireland Scotland and Wales are nowhere to be seen leaving us as the only home nation standing. Are they simply just bottle jobs or is there something more to it?
I think Ireland probably could get classed as bottle jobs, they should have done better at the last one Scotland, we haven't been that good when the world cup cycles come around. Last time was gutting as we had a quality team but got drawn in a group with the top 2 teams in the world at the time - Ireland and SA. We were ranked 5th in the world at the time, was a joke of a group. They drew the group something like 3 years before it so the seedings were all over the place
Fair enough. I'm more of a casual Rugby follower than anything else. I love watching the 6 nations mind just hope England actually turn up for this one
Hard to tell with England, they have so much depth but Ireland and France just look so many levels above the rest France didn't have 2 of their best players last yr and Ireland are just class Looking forward to it starting
I work for a Welsh based company, they have been very quiet about tonight's game. It's like rugby doesn't exist anymore because they are ****e
I have to say the French national anthem is bloody good and rugby crowds don't half belt the anthems out
Tbf to the Italians they looked good in the last 6 nations, Wales have such a young team - going to be a tough couple yrs for them
