The World Cup kicks off tomorrow, you wouldn’t know because the BBC would only cover it if it was women’s sport.

Anyone else going to enjoy early mornings with a beer in hand.

@Tobes sticky this. Thanks in advance.

    It's on ITV.....
I've got a largish bet there will be a try in the first 75 seconds of any match. Hoping someone drops the ball from a kick off.

I’ll watch the games I care about. As much as Rugby was my game, I can’t be arsed to watch every match

What odds did you get on that? I'd be very surprised if it didn't happen

I'll be watching every game. Luckily I can get matches on one of my work screens and my boss won't mind

Aren't England playing France in the group stages? I'll probably try and watch that, and New Zealand vs South Africa. See if I get into it.

It's a spread bet. I sold at 75 sec so how much I win or lose depends when the earliest try actually occurs. The current spread is 73-80 so more people must have sold. I can close it after any match and it won't move very much for the first few matches at least. The ideal outcome would be a try in the first few matches at around 80 secs which would limit my loss so I could afford to sell it again for a bigger stake. There would still be a good chance if a very early try later on.
I've had this bet on the last 6 football world cups and the last 3 rugby world cups and only lost once.

NZ SA is on Saturday at around 11. Should be a great game.

5 decent games to be fair this weekend.

I'll watch some of it purely because I like sport and it's a big event but rugby in general is pretty **** and hardcore rugby fans are colossal bell ends.

Should be a good indicator of where the WC might end up.

Bullshit. Typical Welshy will suddenly the most patriotic ****er when / if you get the the knockouts and then shout from the rooftops that you were hard done by, and if *insert any old excuse here* didn’t happen, you would have won the whole thing.
