Despite what I said, I wouldn't bet against that, granted!

Having said that... England's fitness was shown up by Wales (famously unfit... anyone remember us leading the AB at HT in the WC? fitness failed and we got mauled 2nd half...) so it'll be interesting to see how they match the physicality the southern hemisphere teams are undoubtedly going to bring.

England seem to be becoming bit of bogey team for Aus in the World Cup but having said that I think we will struggle to get passed France. A year ago every one was talking about France and Ireland being the big contenders to the all blacks but with their dip in forms is anyone ?

Once you get into the knock out any thing can happened but can anybody hand on heart see the all blacks even having to get into top gear to win ?

I just don't think the French will beat England in a World Cup, psychologically they seem to have the wood on them, Johnson will play the percentage stick it up your jumper game. That's why Wilkinson is getting a run in the side, keep it tight and keep the scoreboard ticking over with penalties.
As for Australia, I just think England will do them up front, as usual the Aussie backs are very talented ( it's been great watching the Queensland Reds down here, Genia and Cooper world class) but the forwards although improved in the last couple of months I doubt will cope with England's pressure.

Hah, it's alright, although to be honest I've already missed the entire summer where we were preparing for the Premiership, and I'm gutted that I couldn't try to get a season ticket. The "season" is finishing in a month though so hopefully I can catch as many games as possible... I'm looking at Chelsea away on the 24th of September as a one off extravagant financial splurge...

Bloody glad I went back for the playoff final, I tell you!

england not strong enough and QF is about the best they are capable of. NZ will be the favorites but seem to blow it in the world cup. South Africa are my bet to win it. Aus, France, wales to have a good WC but not as good as SA & NZ....

Yeah, I bet you were! Last play off final I went to was a heartbreaker against your bluebird friends.

It's funny you saying ' it's alright' living in Ibiza, I'd love it, being a DJ, but then again people say the same to me living in Aus, beautiful place but at the end of the day you still need to work.

Anyway mate, all the best, nice talking to you.

Don't believe it ...... I have been asking for a free muff diving holiday for ages, but I am starting to believe he actually lives in darkest Bonymaen, Swansea :emoticon-0105-wink:

Or perhaps it is personal, Scottyboy????

PS As much as it hurts cos I cannot stand to please our QPR friend........ Kiwis to win and Wales to get to the semi's (No double entendre meant about the word semi's)

Ha ha ha! Funnily enough it's a gorgeous sunny day today, granted we've had some shocking days lately, but today's a beaut.
Not quite the heat you're used to Musty, it's 21 C at the moment, very pleasant, almost time to get the barbie fired up!

If you're a DJ I understand why you'd love it! Personally, I've gone 3 summers and 1 winter and I'm yet to go to a club! No instruments - not interested! :p

All the chaos is on the west side of the island, and I'm north east.. nice and quiet.

Swimaway, I'm telling you buddy, I can hook you up with cheap accommodation, but as for muff diving... I stay away from all the chaos dude! Half my time is underwater in work... the other half is split between guitar, drinking, smoking, posting on here... and watching Trailer Park Boys at the moment!

Depends on time of year, and what kind of accommodation you'd want. Hotels are probably about 30€ a night in September half board, I can get self catering apartments for cheap though, think if it was something like 25€ a night at most... It really depends. Loads of different types of accommodation, loads of different rates, but you can get stuff for 30€ a night.

Ibiza is dead off season man. Everything closes apart from supermarkets and locals shops, it's quite eerie in places!

Where is Baileys bar? I can't say I know it, but even though Ibiza is small it's not THAT small!
