INTERNATIONAL FIXTURES THIS WEEKEND Saturday 10:45 - Australia v New Zealand (Rugby Championship) 14:00 - Ireland v Italy (RWC 2019 Warm Up) 20:40 - Argentina v South Africa (Rugby Championship) Sunday 14:00 - England v Wales (RWC 2019 Warm Up)
If the aussies beat NZ, we could be ranked 1 in the world. Hope we dont pick up any serious injuries against england in the next 10 days.
Come on taff. Lets be positive. Not going to read too much into the 'friendly' results, though recognise their impact on ratings. Its more about getting competitive minutes under your belt and trying combinations. Can see our first choice team running out for the last game against ireland in a month or so.
Let's be honest, the rankings are pretty meaningless anyway. It's just fun for me as I'm living with "the neighbours"
Why play England in a Friendly.? I can't understand the mindset on that before the WC......England players dont understand this fixture either......There is no such thing as a friendly between our both countries and there is more of a risk of injuries than playing any other game.....A stupid fixture imo...
But what's the point of a meaningless game? No one gets anything out of that. This is the best preparation possible. Faletau got injured in training.
I know that, but it increases injuries for both sides going into the WC....Not happy playing such an intense couple of games like this......The 6 nations and the WC are for games like these. I know players can get injured in any game but we all know this wont be a friendly game, It will be fierce and intense like they always are....I cannot see the point of playing a game like this before the WC...
Strong team named by Gatland for the game tomorrow. Given the injuries we currently have, probably the strongest he could. Wales: Liam Williams; George North, Jonathan Davies, Hadleigh Parkes, Josh Adams; Gareth Anscombe, Gareth Davies; Nicky Smith, Ken Owens, Tomas Francis; Adam Beard, Alun Wyn Jones (C); Aaron Wainwright, Justin Tipuric, Ross Moriarty. Subs: Elliot Dee, Wyn Jones, Dillon Lewis, Jake Ball, Aaron Shingler, Tomos Williams, Dan Biggar, Owen Watkin.

Great to see NZ having a thumping today. Australia 47 New Zealand 26 Oh dear, what a pity, never mind
They’ll ensure that Garces never, ever refs them again. He’s sent off 2 of the 4 ABs to be dismissed!
Unbelievable that they've only had 4 players sent off ever. Something not right. Ok, so that's the first bit done. IF we beat England tomorrow, we're officially no 1 in the World.
NZ havent impressed me at all so far and the red card this morning was the correct decision. If only the World Cup started tomorrow because from what I've seen on the southern hemisphere, I'd mark us as favourites.
