Germany aren't in the rugby world cup, he can support whoever he likes.
Is English your second language? If not, show it some respect.

Right, now back to the rugby. I still think we can top the group, Wales will be depleted for their next 1 or possibly 2 games. We should be OK as long as we regain our discipline and stop making tactical errors.

I have asked BBH to take it down, as I feel it is in about the right frequency to elicit a seizure in a susceptible person.
I hope it will be gone soon

I agree with you Shefford.....England can still qualify, because a depleted Wales will struggle to defeat Fiji on Thursday.

Sheffs...we probably do not need to worry about the Aussies IF we beat Fiji ... either way, we will know exactly what to do, before the match.
If we beat Fiji....you have to beat Australia.

However....Fiji can possibly see a way through too...and we have not got a backline to put together, and Thursday is too soon.
I am really doubting we will beat them

You ought to get past Fiji. My real concern for both England AND Wales at the moment is the amount of penalties given away last night. Teams like Fiji and Oz will punish these mistakes.

A lot of truth in that, the ref was very officious last night, but equal to both teams....but the ref-fing has been a bit like that.
The difference between the teams, came down to the decision making in the heat of the battle.

Not taking the 3 points, I just about got....but then throwing to the front of the lineout was bizarre. I do not think for a minute, there was any possibility of catching us out with 2 minutes to go in the world cup that way....and we just bundled you in to touch.....To the back of the lineout gave a chance for more play, chance of getting the ball along the line, and keeping it live (like the Japanese did....and probing...until possibly a try came... ) or another chance of a penalty.
Robshaw has never impressed me as a captain, however I read that the kickers told him they did not fancy it (again more reson to throw to tha back and try and get a "better" penalty), but I assume it was Robshaws call to go short..

I still felt at that stage we could have 'done a Japan' and taken the game. Who would have thought that the mighty England would be looking to Japan for tactics!!

Last night was another Rorke's Drift type success for the Welsh!

However, given our injuries, beating Fiji is not "a given".

That said, if we do succeed then England will have to beat the Aussies - who would love nothing better than to dump England out of the RWC on their own patch. Sweet revenge for the Ashes?

If England win, then I think that we will end up 3rd in the group -,can't see us beating the Aussies with our injury list.

Our Team Bus is being converted into an Ambulance as we speak ! :azn:

I think in that situation Japan had SA on the rack and could afford to go for glory knowing they still probably wouldn't qualify. In our position in such a tight group, where the Aussies had already missed a bonus point, a draw would have been a more realistic option the way Farrell was kicking. There are so many things that can go wrong in open play that it was a massive gamble that ultimately failed...

Taff have you been asked to play yet...because you must be fairly high up the list...Welsh, breathing, male and not broken...I fail on one of those counts
