I’m a member but can’t remember the last time I logged in, it just became pretty toxic and full of people on a wind up. Almost every thread descended into chaos or heated arguments so I jumped over to here.

I'm on there, but I tend to post about Sunderland here and everything non Sunderland or non football over there.
The banter lads take over every thread at the minute with the same tired old quips about the club whether it's relevant to the thread or not.

Twenty years ago, you could log on and find something funny and original in a few seconds. Not any more.

I am on there and been a member for years. Got some good support when I was ill and managed to meet some lovely people. Visited Foggy when he was poorly.
Got to meet Mick a rock journalist at a couple of gigs. It contributed to some of the funniest threads over the years but is fairly negative at the moment.

Read it for a lot of years (25+) but never posted. Was really good back in the day with a lot of posters with good crack but it's gone to rat **** unfortunately. Shame.

It's been vile on there over the weekend. I divorced a violent man and he later lost access to our child due to his violent behaviour.
He's allowed to post on there and goad me, and two female bullies have taken up the crusade on his behalf as they believe he's innocent. They've spent all weekend claiming I've told lies about his abuse and I don't deserve the support I'm getting from a mental health service and a domestic violence support charity.

It's a lot quieter over here and far more sensible, well most of the time
There are sensible discussions on here and even when posters disagree they dont normally fall out
Of course there is still the odd village idiot but everywhere has at least one of those
There aren't many female's that post on this board, hopefully we can improve on that.
Hope the wedding preparations are going well for your lad and that daft dog of yours isn't tiring you out too much

Hi Becs. Didn't know you were on here too! Really sorry to hear about your troubles on RTG. That place really is a cesspit at the best of times, but that **** is way over the top. Log out and don't go back. The folk over here are far nicer

I'll never go back either. Shame but would imagine it's just continued to go downhill.
Sorry about your situation.
The only thing this place lacks is volume.
RTG is good for boredom, could sit there talking about all sorts for hours.
Got my official invite yesterday. She's currently over here with her Mam and we're going wedding dress shopping today. I feel honoured that she wants me to be a part of that.
