Considering what some post, I'm struggling what I said tonight warranted a ban.
Maybe one of the lurkers will answer it?
The only bit I'm going to miss is Foggys updates. The rest is obviously a closed shop unless you tow the line.

I think it’s time posters on here stopped putting the other forum down. I post on both and have observed what is going on over there obviously, but wev e been here long enough now.

I’m not sure what you mean by your last sentence. I’ve been told recently that meanings are easily lost on forums so I’ll leave it there.

I've been observing the last couple of days and there is absolutely nothing on pure football worth reading. Don't know if the mods are on heavy snipping duty but there is zilch to read.
Well maybe it’s because a lot of good posters are now over here. There must be about 400 posters made the switch. I made the switch for three reasons.
1. To hear what Rivs had to say about the takeover.
2. To get away from thread after thread being displaced by morons offering nothing.
3. I objected very strongly to the antics of a moderator being allowed to ban people for less than what he posted himself. Btw I made my objections plain over there.

Agreed. It's easy enough to avoid certain threads and posters. Maybe time for this thread to be closed?
Another vote for closing this thread. This board is good enough and big enough to stand on its own two feet - I hope some posters are too.
There seem to be certain posters who are inviolate and philsafc is one of them. The smallest slight ie calling him tedious and he is off to the mods and they invariably support him. He gets away with social media murder and I'd wager he would be way up high for numbers reported and banned.
Ditto sessions and suicide Steve.
Both are social media message boards.
People have opinions and wish to vent them.
Why shut it down?

I haven't posted on there pretty much for 3 years, but I managed to stay there for 10 without a single ban. It's easy to avoid if you're not being obnoxious.
Given the number of posters on that board, it's inevitable that a few are going to be wums, it's just a shame that the good quality content that always offset it seems to have dipped.
