Totally!! - But on the other hand he wanders a lot so if he's asked to play on the right or left then that should open up space in front of the full back for us!! Aren;t we all excellent managers on here - I'll leave it to the big boys who get payed £x million a year to sort these things!!

Well, the Migs being doing the honours for the whole of Europe on that score, 5 or 6 incredible, once a season stops already!

Sounds good Mush, can't say I've seen any. I've been fairly **** at catching other team's games so far this season though, had a lot of stuff on lately but hope to get more games under my belt as soon as the missus new cage arrives, or she buggers off out with her mates on a weekend instead of hanging around me like some kind of dictatorial lost puppy.

Whilst I'm here, what's a "marra", I'd google it but I'd rather get the answer from you boys.

I thought it might be like Sunderland slang for marrow, but it's not really a term of endearment. I'd be fairly insulted if somebody referred to me as a marrow. It's a rather bulbous and boring, bland vegetable with very few characteristics. I'm thinking it's not marrow now, I'd probably be right in thinking it's just like saying "mate" as in "hi mate, hi marra", but what's it actually mean?

'marra' is a widely used term for mate used up here, I believe it comes from the pits, an old miners expression.

The 4-4 volley quite understandably clouds a lot of people's judgement of Tiote!

However, Tiote in his first seasonw as definitely a 20m pound player, the best in our side by a country mile and definitely worth that. The Tiote of last year, was very meh, solid but you could get players to do the same job for 10m easily. I do think him and Cabaye could be awesome together, compliment each other perfectly, and I'm confident he will regain his first season form once we get ourselves settled.

Miles better than Cattermole imo, he's a decent player but an idiot.

I very much doubt its down to reputation. Fergie had no problem signing Keane who could be pretty tasty in terms of discipline. With Cattermole they just don't see the quality is the bottom line. Obviously Sunderland fans view Cattermole differently to other fans and people in the game. I fully understand that because he is your player.

I am a Sunderland fan and have never been a massive Catts fan. On his day he can be fantastic the problem is he does not have enough of those days. I worry about the middle of our midfield, without Gardner in there we are not very creative at all. The key for us will be getting Sess, Johnson and McClean on the ball with space in front of them. Tiote is a better player IMO but he has not had enough good games this season either. I personally think its going to be more about Sess / Johnson and Ben Arfa / Cabeye this weekend.
